Still, the antics continue. We endure politicians serving little more than their own egos as they jostle for power, rather than demonstrating vision or a genuine commitment to the betterment of Australia.

This song was first written and recorded in response to Scott Morrison assuming the leadership of the Liberal Party of Australia from Malcolm Turnbull on 24 August 2018, at a time when Australian farmers were battling life without rain.

It was the drought-stricken summer of 2018 in Australia. Farmers were on their knees. It was a moment the Federal Government needed to seize. Instead, Canberra was consumed by leadership challenges, white-anting and the deliberate erosion of its own internal foundations. Blinded by treachery, the government failed to see the heart-wrenching and devastating reality facing Australian farmers, who looked to their elected leaders for help — and saw only dirty political games.
