MOSS: A New Chapter Begins
The past year has been one of reflection and resilience for MOSS. Following the heartbreaking loss of our dear friend and drummer, Dave Anthony, on 1 October 2024, we made the difficult decision to pause and consider the future of the band we built together.

We took time over the Christmas and New Year period to reflect individually and collectively on what MOSS means to us and what it could still become. When we reconvened in late January 2025, there was a shared sense of purpose and unity. The decision was unanimous: MOSS would continue.

Creating and performing original music in 2025 comes with its challenges, particularly for artists in our demographic. Finding the right person meant more than musical ability alone. We were searching for someone passionate about original work, committed to the creative process, and equally aligned with the strong social bond that defines MOSS. For us, camaraderie is just as vital as musicianship.

There were a few stops and starts along the way, but perseverance paid off. We are delighted to welcome David Dewar into the MOSS family.

With renewed energy, respect for our past, and excitement for what lies ahead, MOSS enters this next chapter inspired, united, and ready to create.
